Bovendien is het ook aangewezen om niet te veel grond weg te nemen. Stel dat er een hoogteverschil ontstaat, dan kan je dat best opvullen met nieuwe grond of schors. Daardoor zijn ze zeer geschikt om dergelijke gazonboord goed te onderhouden. Bij de andere merken is het iets delicater, omdat daar de \u2018rijd over draad afstand\u2019 niet kan ingesteld worden. Hier is het de positie van de kabel die bepaalt tot waar de robot zal maaien. Wanneer de kabel te dicht ligt, kan je niet vermijden dat de machine met zijn (achter)wielen over de border gaat. Wanneer die border dan niet stabiel genoeg ligt of te laag ligt (t.o.v. het gazon) dan kan jouw robotmaaier vastrijden. Opvullen of stabieler maken is dan de boodschap. Ofwel de kabel verder van de rand leggen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denk er bij het plaatsen van de kabel ook aan dat de beplanting (struiken\/haag) meestal groter worden dan wat ze in het begin zijn.
